Walking in the Wind

It's been a bit since I've updated about my life in Utah.
I think the best way to do that is to let the pictures speak for themselves. Not that they are anything spectacular- they are just phone shots of some pretty awesome places I've been.

I spent A LOT of times at Temples. From Mt. Timpanagos, to Ogden, to Bountiful, to Oquirrh Mountain, to Draper, to Payson and so many others. I just love them and can't get enough. And in my drives I find some other pretty places. And this new, warm, sunny spring air makes me feel alive. I have been craving travel and adventure and filling my free time with exploring. It's pretty fantastical.

God sure has given us some pretty amazing sights and blessings on this earth. I never thought I'd love Utah so much.

My First Wedding Shoot

This August, I was blessed to be hired for my very first wedding shoot! I LOVED it!  It was so fun being able to capture this couple's special day!   Besides being super nervous before heading over and getting  SUPER lost on the way to the little church, it went off without a hitch and I had a blast! I love weddings! These are a few of my favorites of the day, from directly after the ceremony  in a special little couple's session for just the two Newlyweds.

Congrats Eric and Nicole!

My Nephew Is Hilarious

So, I have an 18 month old nephew. And he is stinking hilarious.  I am so blessed because I get to spend a lot of time with him and there is not a day that goes by when I see him and am not practically rolling on the floor laughing at him. He is just a kick.
Not to mention, he is stinking ADORABLE!!

This is his cheesy grin that he does when he is hamming it up, or... when he's in trouble.

I know I am bias, but seriously, cutest little boy ever.

He has a slight obsession carrying around handfuls of dog food and throwing them piece by piece at our 2 dogs. And a few weeks ago when my sister and I came home from vacation, he was just super excited and hyper the rest of the day. Plus, he's figured out how to start undressing himself. All of that combined equals this:

(sorry it's sideways, my mom shot the video haha)

They call her love, love, love, love, love....

A little tidbit you might not know about me....I am working on becoming a Photographer.  I LOVE photos, and capturing memories and moments.  And, I LOVE looking at photos too. I am such a sap, I love looking through wedding and engagement photos. I am friends with a couple of other photographers around the states on Facebook and in honor of Valentine's Day I am going to share with you some VERY awesome images that I have found from these incredible photographers.

These are from Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography. She captures AMAZING images. Can we talk about how amazingly she captured these and how stinking beautiful the bride's dress and hair are? STUNNING!!

I would TOTALLY recommend checking her work out, you can find her website and blog here:

And these come from my favorite photographer...Aria Vance Bethards. I am seriously in love with her work. She has SUCH style!  It's top notch. Take a look:

I would absolutely LOVE for her to do my engagements and wedding someday!!
